Retired Sgt. First Class Mike Elam Gives Back to Lindenwood

Elam’s commitment to serving his country transferred inside and outside the classroom. In the summer of 2008, Elam retired from the Army. The day after he retired, he began work as an ROTC instructor at Lindenwood University. He also served as the interim head coach of the shotgun sports team, a Student Life Sports program at Lindenwood.

Lindenwood University Art History Professor Dr. James Hutson was recognized as one of the Top 5 Remarkable Men in Education for 2023 by the Knowledge Review magazine in December.

Two Lindenwood Alumnae Receive Milken Educator Awards

Two Lindenwood University alumnae received 2023-24 Missouri Milken Educator Awards in November. Leah Lawrence and Meghan Menchella were honored with the awards, which included a $25,000 cash prize to be used for any purpose.

Lindenwood Students Place Fifth at Digital Marketing Competition

This fall, Lindenwood University placed fifth at the Digital Marketing Competition in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Digital Marketing Competition is an international competition for college students tasked with developing and pitching a digital marketing strategy.
